fundamental research of the processes of electrodeposition and electrocrystallization of metals, protection against corrosion of materials, electrochemical synthesis of new materials for alternative and renewable energy:

new technologies of refining and electroextraction for the production of high-purity metals, including the recycling of non-ferrous metal wastes (Professor, Doctor of Chemical Sciences Yu.P. Zaikov, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Ostanin N.I.);
study of the properties of composite solid electrolyte and composite materials for chemical current sources (Professor, Dr. of Chemical Sciences Ananyev M.V.);
