HIGHLY EFFICIENT SYNTHETIC APPROACHES IN DESIGN OF PERSPECTIVE MATERIALS BASED ON HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS
Scientific direction:
Application of the C (sp2) -H functionalization methodology in (hetero) aromatic and non-aromatic systems as a highly efficient approach to the directed design of multi-purpose heterocyclic ensembles
Studied aspects:
· In-depth study of the structure and reactivity of organic compounds of the heterocyclic series
· Atom-efficient methodologies for building C-C and C-N bonds in the design of bio-heterocyclic compounds
· Synthesis and application of organometallic derivatives in retrosynthetic schemes
The most striking scientific results:
Effective synthetic approaches to new heterocyclic derivatives of ferrocene, calixarene, carboran have been developed, a wide range of new bi-heterocyclic ensembles based on 2H-imidazole have been synthesized that are of interest in medical chemistry and materials science.

Work in leading Russian and foreign scientific and educational centers and in enterprises of the real sector, specializing in the field of organic synthesis.
Additional requirements of the supervisor:
· Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of organic chemistry
· Possession of modern methods for the isolation and spectral identification of organic compounds
